   After a successful Seeking Serving Soaring campaign, people may be asking, "What's next?"

   Next, is providing for the school on an annual basis. Normally this is through an Annual Fund, such as CORLHS' Club 333. Yes, you can support Christ Our Rock in a number of ways, and this year Club 333 is more important than ever since campaign pledges are coming to an end.

   What’s the difference whether I give a gift to Club 333 or to the CORLHS Foundation?

   In terms of it going toward helping the Lord’s work at Christ Our Rock, it makes little difference. In terms of being tax-deductible? No difference. In terms of the gratitude of everyone at COR, there is none.   

   So how does one decide to which to commit a gift? It depends on where you wish to make an impact: in the immediate future, which is the most vital at the moment, or the distant future.

   Club 333 funds go toward the immediate needs of the school, paying the teachers, paying the electric bill, and all the other things connected with the daily workings of the school.

   Gifts to the Foundation create a fund from which the interest and other investments can provide long term security to the school’s growth and longevity.

   Club 333 is like your personal checking account from which you pay rent or mortgage, groceries, gas for the car. The Foundation is like a retirement account from which it is very difficult to withdraw funds, so it is available in emergencies, to provide credit for the school, and to provide another source of funding to keep tuition lower and pay the bills.

   Some people like the idea that their money will continue to generate stability for the school long into the future. They should give to the Foundation. Some people want the school to be able to be on top of its bills now and in the near future. They should join Club 333.

   And, in reality, good supporters should consider being part of both, making a commitment to Club 333 and putting the Foundation into their legacy planning.

   And another way of leaving a terrific legacy? Make a commitment to help a needy student with a gift to tuition assistance.

   Whichever avenue you may choose, we thank God for you and your generosity.
